You are an important person..

It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor, learned or ignorant, young or old, you are still an important person as far as God is concerned. You are so important that for you and other beings like you, God has created all things that are good and beautiful. All these so you can enjoy life to the uttermost.

But God has done more than just this for you. Knowing that you are vexed by sins, sickness and various sufferings (all of which sooner or later lead to the grave) He has sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ and by dying on the Cross of Calvary for your sins and the sins of the whole world, will one day deliver you from death and the grave through the resurrection of the dead, and give you as a gift eternal life.

Now, we ask: is there anything better or more beautiful than life, especially a life without sorrows, but full of peace and happiness without end?

Fantastic! Unbelievable! you may say. No, dear reader, it is the Gospel truth, and what is more, God offers you this precious gift absolutely free, without price and without money; all that you are required to do is to repent from your sins, and throwing yourself at the feet of Jesus acknowledge Him as your personal Savior and King. Jesus is your Savior because He will save you from eternal death by giving you eternal life, and your King to be served and worshipped, by being obedient to His commandments and teachings and by living an examplary life, a Christian life in harmony with the precepts of the Gospel.

When you have taken these steps, you will be more than an important person in Gods sight. You will be accepted as His son or daughter and become a member of Gods family. Notice what the Apostle John says about this: ‘Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God . . . Beloved, now we are the sons of God” (1 John 3:1,2). The Apostle Paul adds: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16). Now we ask: Could there be anything better or more beautiful than being children of God? Ah! it is then that one becomes a very important person!

Dear reader, God loves you, and has loved you so, that He has given His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3: 16). God is now calling you, and this wonderful fact alone, requires your immediate attention. You alone can decide to either ignore or acknowledge and answer such a call. No one else can decide for you. Answer the call with joy and gratitude, open your heart and let God. and Jesus enter and rule it for evermore. We are praying for you, and stand ready to help you. May God bless you. Amen.
